Projects

An overview of what a Project is in SiteRise and how the project workspace is organized.

Purpose

This article explains what a Project is in SiteRise and how to work with your project workspace.

Who Uses This

Project managers, executives, administrators, and external partners assigned to a project.

How It Works

A Project in SiteRise is the central workspace for a specific site or development effort. It houses everything related to that job — schedules, budgets, files, tasks, RFIs, and reporting — in one place.

From the main navigation, click "Projects" to see the full list of projects you have access to.

Click into any project to access its dedicated workspace, including tabs or sections for Schedule, Budget, Files, Deliverables, and Reporting.

Best Practices

  • Use consistent naming conventions across projects to make them easier to find (see Naming Standards).

  • Set up your project structure early — schedules, budgets, and templates are easier to apply at the start.

  • Regularly check the project dashboard for status updates and flagged items.

Troubleshooting

Don't see a project you expect to have access to? Contact your administrator to confirm you've been added as a user on that project (see Administration > Users).
