In some cases when a project does not conform exactly to a specific template you can leverage the Not Applicable option to mark particular deliverables as not applicable for your project.
From the Project Deliverables page select the deliverable in question
In the Timeline section click on the Manage Schedule button
In the Manage Schedule drawer toggle the Set as Not Applicable option
By setting this option the schedule dates are no longer managed and any deliverables that are dependent downstream will be not be updated. It is advised to change downstream deliverables to be dependent on a new deliverable.
