Projects
In SiteRise, most of your time will be spent within individual projects. Each project features a timeline, built from custom templates set up during onboarding. These timelines consist of deliverables and dependencies, with specific durations assigned to each task.
Overview Tab
Overview provides key project information, examples include:
Open timing
Project type
Project status
Team members assigned
Companies involved
Key Milestones: The deliverables that drive the project the most either from a schedule, cost or visibility perspective
Clicking on a milestone will take you directly to the Deliverables tab.
Deliverables Tab
Here, you’ll find a full list of tasks required to complete the project.
Deliverable Details:
At the top of each deliverable, you’ll see essential information:
Owner
Last modified date
Timeline (actual and planned start dates)
Duration (in days)
Dependencies
Filtering:
Use the Filter option to narrow down the list of deliverables. Common filter options include project phase or discipline (e.g., Real Estate, Design). You can also use the search field to find specific deliverables.
Uploading Files
You can upload nearly any file type to a deliverable by dragging it to the file box or clicking the Upload File button. Uploaded files are visible to all team members with permission to access the project.
For version control, use the Upload Revision icon next to an existing file to upload a new version. The updated file will replace the old version, which will still be saved for reference.
Reminder: After uploading a file, it’s good practice to comment on the deliverable to notify the owner.
Comments
You can leave comments on any deliverable. The responsible user will receive a notification via email and in-app. Use the @ symbol to mention or tag other users. After 10 minutes, the tagged user will be emailed with the comment and a link directly to the deliverable.
Schedule Page
This page shows the complete project schedule in a Gantt chart format.
Color codes:
Gray: Not started
Green: On track
Blue: Complete
Red: Past due
The Filter option is also available here to customize your view of deliverables.
Photos Page
Here, you can create albums and upload project photos. You can upload up to 50 photos at a time, either by dragging and dropping them into the album or using the file picker. Previews of the photos are automatically generated once uploaded.
