Projects/Timelines
Projects are where you will spend the majority of your time in SiteRise. On each project you will see a timeline that is specific to the project. These timelines are built off custom templates that the SiteRise team will help you setup during your company onboarding. Each timeline consists of multiple deliverables and dependencies with durations applied to each one.
Create a Project
To create a project, navigate to the site where the project is and click Add Site in the top right corner. Fill out the brief form with your site details. If the site already exists, you can navigate straight to the site and click Add Project.
Complete the form by selecting the project type, template and responsible parties. Once submitted you will be taken to the project page.
Kicking Off a Project
Once a project is created, you can 'kick it off' by starting any of the deliverables on the timeline. Select a date and click Save and your project is underway!
Deliverable Details
On each deliverable, you will see the main details near the top:
Owner
Last Modified Date
Timeline (Actual and Planned Start Dates)
Duration (in days)
Dependency
The details or timeline of any deliverable can be edited by clicking on the Edit button in the top right of the deliverable box.
Uploading Files
On each deliverable, you can upload nearly any type of file. To upload a file, simply drag it over to the file box or click the Upload File button. Files uploaded will be seen by any team member with permission to view that project.
If working with different versions/revisions of the same file, you can click Upload Revision icon next to the file to upload a new version. The new version will now be shown to all users with the old version saved.
Comments
You can comment on any deliverable by using the comment box. The user responsible will be notified via email and in app. If you would like to tag or call out a different users, you can use the @ sign to mention them. After 10 minutes (the grace period during which you can make changes if needed), the recipient of the tag will receive an email with the comment and a link directly into the deliverable.
