Introducing Cross-Channel comments (aka comments v2), a new feature on SiteRise allowing different teams to communicate with each other seamlessly in one place.
You can now mention or tag any member of a project easily or tag specific tasks or deliverables from any part of the project by simply using the @ sign in any comment field.
How Does It Work?
1. Navigate to any comment field on a deliverable, photo upload, RFI or Change order and type the @ sign followed by the users name.
2. The available users, tasks or deliverable will auto-populate for you to select.
3. Once selected and the comment is sent, the tagged user will receive a notification.
4. Tagged tasks and deliverables will auto link directly to that mentioned item.
5. You now also have the ability to tag all users on a project using @all in any comment window. Use wisely as all users will receive a notification!
Note: A user or vendor must be added on a project (on the project overview page) to be taggable.
We understand retail development is not easy and teams get stuck in silos, our goal from day 1 has always been to break down these silos and early feedback shows this is another great feature to help accomplish that!
