How It Works
General Contractors are typically added as an External Partner Company with access to construction-related tools like Punch Lists, Photos, RFIs, and Change Orders.
GCs commonly update task and deliverable status, upload site photos, and respond to punch list items directly in SiteRise.
Best Practices
Set clear expectations for how often GCs should update task/deliverable status.
Use Photos and Markup to document site conditions and issues clearly (see Markup).
Route change orders through the Approvals workflow for a clear audit trail.
Troubleshooting
If a GC can't update a task or punch list item, confirm their permissions and Company link are correctly set (see External Partners).
