Vendors are typically added as an External Partner Company, with access scoped to relevant files, deliverables, or communication threads.
Vendors may be tagged in comments or assigned to specific deliverables tied to their scope of work (e.g., equipment delivery, fixtures).
Best Practices
Keep vendor access limited to only what's relevant to their scope.
Use deliverables to track vendor-specific commitments and due dates.
Communicate directly through comments to keep a clear record tied to the project.
Troubleshooting
If a vendor can't see an assigned deliverable, confirm their permissions and Company link are correctly set (see External Partners).
