Purpose
This article covers how Architects collaborate within SiteRise projects.
Who Uses This
Architects working as external partners on a project, and the internal team members coordinating with them.
How It Works
Architects are typically added as an External Partner Company, with access scoped to design-related files, RFIs, and approvals.
Architects commonly interact with SiteRise through Files (drawings/specs), RFIs, and the Approvals workflow for design sign-off.
Best Practices
Set up a dedicated folder structure for architectural drawings and specs (see File Organization).
Route design-related RFIs and approvals directly to the architect's team.
Keep architect access scoped to relevant projects and phases.
Troubleshooting
If an architect can't access a drawing or file, confirm their permissions and Company link are correctly set (see External Partners).
