Understanding the SiteRise Hierarchy: Location > Site > Project
SiteRise organizes data using a three-tier structure: Location > Site > Project. This hierarchy helps group multiple sites under a single location and manage multiple projects at each site.
For example, if you're opening a coffee shop in Valley Fair Mall (San Jose), the mall would be the Location, and individual suites within the mall would be your Sites. After selecting a Site, the next level is the Project—this is where you spend most of your time managing the build or remodel.
Location Master
The Location Master serves as a hub for all past, current, and future locations. It’s accessible via the Locations tab in the left-hand navigation.
If you’re unsure of a location or site name, use the search bar at the top right to find it.
Location Landing Page
From the Location Master, click any location to see its main details. This page shows:
Address
Location number
Companies associated with the location
Sites
Custom KPI boxes below display key brand metrics for easy tracking at the location level. Common examples include mall information such as mall hours, delivery information and Tenant Coordinator contact info.
Sites
In the top right corner of the Location page, the Sites box lists any associated sites. Most often, this includes a single "main store" with a status such as "in progress."
Other examples might be:
Sites the real estate team scouted but didn’t move forward with (status: inactive)
Sites still in the planning stage
Remote storage or temporary spaces
This flexibility allows operations to grow and adapt over time.
Site Landing Page
Clicking on any site brings you to the Site Landing Page, where you can view:
Address
Companies associated with the site
Projects
Custom KPI boxes below show important brand metrics specific to the site, common examples here include facilities info such as HVAC and utility details, square footage and allocation.
At the top of the page, you'll find Projects to manage. This is where the majority of time is spent within Site Rise.
